Pune: NCP Leader Killed Over Land Dispute, Case Registered
Pune 8th July 2023: Nationalist Congress Party leader who also served as the corporator of Jejuri Municipal Council was brutally attacked by five men over a land dispute. The incident took place on Friday when the deceased Maheboob Pansare had gone to his farm where he had a fight with one of the suspect Vanesh Pardeshi over a land dispute.
The issue escalated further after which five men brutally assaulted Shaikh and two others with sharp weapons causing serious injuries to them. Mehboob Shaikh sustained serious injuries and he was rushed to the hospital for treatment but due to excess bleeding he succumbed to the injuries.
According to police, Vanesh and Maheboob had a land dispute following which they had a fight multiple times in the past. Police have booked five suspect identified as Vanesh Pardeshi, Kiran Pardeshi, Swami Pardeshi and two others in the matter. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
