Pune: Nana Patekar And Makrand Anaspure’s Naam Foundation Builds Houses For 16 Families Who Lost Their Homes In Fire Incident

Pune, 23rd August 2021: Actors Nana Patekar and Makrand Anaspure’s ‘Naam Foundation’ has taken the initiative to have a roof over the heads of those who lost their homes in a fire incident. The fire incident had taken place in March in Bahuli village in Haveli.

 

As many as 16 houses were gutted in the fire. All of them have been given a helping hand by the Naam Foundation, which has always been at the forefront of social work. Actor Nana Patekar gave the keys to new houses to the families today.

 

Nana Patekar said, “We had received information that houses were gutted. So we came to this village. I promised them that their homes will be built within 2-3 months.”

 

Nana Patekar has taken up the task of removing silt from Khadakwasala dam. Many people are involved in this work. Naam Foundation has also set up a project on the border. Water ATMs have been set up at Leh. Nana Patekar informed that every family has one machine.
