Pune-Nagpur Indigo flight develops snag mid-air, returns to Pune

Pune, April 2, 2019: The Pune-Nagpur Indigo flight had come to Pune soon after take-off on Tuesday, after one of the two engines developed snag. There were 86 passengers in the flight.
Flight number 6E 134 had schedule departure from Pune at 11.05 am and was reach Nagpur at 12.30 pm was delayed for more than an hour.
The airline officials said soon after take-off from Pune, pilot observed engine caution message. A decision was taken to return to Pune.
The A320neo, powered with the Pratt and Whitney engines, has been facing many issues for almost a year now. Last month had seen IndiGo grounding an A320neo after it came to light that on January 31, while the flight was preparing for take-off from Lucknow to Delhi, the pilot had found that one of the two engines didn’t have any power.
