Pune: Motorcycle Rally And National Youth Day Lecture Series In Background Of G-20 Conference
Pune, 12th January 2023: In the background of the G-20 conference, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) jointly organized a motorcycle ferry and National Youth Day lecture series.
The motorcycle rally was launched from Shaniwarwada. 2,000 students and volunteers of Savitribai Phule Pune University participated in this motorcycle ferry. On this occasion Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Vikas Dhakne, Savitribai Phule Pune University Vice-Chancellor Dr Karbhari Kale, Rajesh Pandey, Member of State Advisory Committee of National Service Scheme were present.
The National Youth Day lecture series was organized at Savitribai Phule Pune University to create awareness about G-20. State Director of Higher Education Dr Shailendra Devlankar, Vice-Chancellor Dr Karbhari Kale, and Additional Municipal Commissioner Dhakne guided the youth about the role, opportunities, and challenges of the youth in the G-20 conference.
