Pune: MLA Rohit Pawar Accuses BJP of Plotting to End Sharad Pawar’s Political Career

Pune, 1st April 2024: Karjat Jamkhed MLA Rohit Pawar alleged that BJP leader Chandrakant Patil had expressed intentions to end Sharad Pawar’s political career. According to Rohit Pawar, the BJP aims to target Sharad Pawar by leveraging alliances with individuals close to the Pawar family.

Asserting the support of the people, Pawar predicted Supriya Sule’s victory in the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency with a margin exceeding three lakh votes. Criticizing BJP’s strategies, NCP leader Sharad Chandra Pawar’s party leader and MLA Rohit Pawar accused BJP of attempting to undermine Sharad Pawar’s political influence by manipulating individuals associated with the Pawar family.

During an interaction with journalists at Patrakar Bhawan, Pawar addressed various topics including the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency, Other Maharashtra State constituencies, and party preparations. Regarding the political landscape in Raver, Satara, and Madha constituencies, Pawar discussed the possibility of Mahadev Jankar contesting in Madha and criticized the BJP’s interference in Parbhani. Pawar also commented on the use of criminal elements in Kasaba by-elections and the failure of law enforcement to address the growing influence of gangsters.

Responding to discussions about Ajit Pawar’s capabilities in Baramati, Pawar emphasized the importance of aligning with Sharad Pawar’s principles rather than pursuing individual ambitions. Pawar criticized Sunil Tatkare and emphasized the significance of representing the people over personal interests. Additionally, Pawar praised Prakash Ambedkar’s leadership and cautioned against potential consequences for the Mahavikas Aghadi if Ambedkar were to field a candidate.
