Pune: Minor Girl Raped Repeatedly, Five Persons Arrested By Pimpri Chinchwad Police
Hinjawadi, 2nd April 2023: Five people were arrested by Pimpri-Chinchwad police for the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl. The accused had raped the minor on multiple occasions. The police claimed that one of the accused had a physical relationship with the girl initially and made her pregnant. Subsequently, the accused forced the victim to have physical relations with others involved in the case to earn money.
The victim’s parents filed a complaint alleging that one of the accused befriended their daughter by offering her chocolates and other gifts and raped her several times, causing her pregnancy. The accused then forced the victim to have physical relations with others to earn money.
The Hinjawadi police station registered a case under IPC Section 370 (Human trafficking), 376 (2) (commits rape on the same woman repeatedly), 376 AB (Whoever commits rape on a woman under twelve years of age), 376 DA (Punishment for gang rape on a woman under sixteen years of age), and Sections 4, 6, 8, 10 of The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
