Pune: Minor Girl Molested under the Pretext of Watching “The Kerala Story”
Pune, 29th May 2023: A shocking incident has come to light where a minor girl was subjected to molestation under the guise of watching the movie “The Kerala Story.” The Yerwada police has registered a case against the accused in this distressing incident.
The accused, identified as Sunny Kripashankar Gupta, a 29-year-old resident of Jalprabhat slum in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, is known to the victim and resides in a rented room adjacent to her house. Taking advantage of their acquaintance, Gupta deceitfully invited the girl to his residence for a screening of “Kerala Story.”
However, instead of watching the movie, Gupta allegedly molested the girl and gave her five hundred rupees. The traumatized girl immediately confided in her mother, who wasted no time in filing a complaint with the Yerwada police. As a result, legal action has been initiated against Gupta, aiming to bring him to justice for his reprehensible actions.
