Pune: MCOCA Action Taken Against Dhavale Gang In Sinhagad Road Area

Pune, 12th December 2022: Pune city police has invoked the stringent MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) against notorious Neeraj Dhavale’s gang, who were terrorizing the residents of Sinhagad road area. This is the 113th action under MCOCA taken by Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta.

 

In the present case, action has been taken against Neeraj Laxman Dhavale (22), Suraj Santosh Dhavale (19), Aniket/Andy Devidas Kamble (20), Kiran Vitthal Shinde (20), and Atish Ram Pawar (20).

 

 

The group leader, Neeraj Dhavale, with the help of other accomplices, created terror among the citizens of the Sinhagad Road area. Serious crimes such as assault, attempted murder, possession of dangerous weapons, and rioting have been registered against the gang.

 

Senior Police Inspector Shailesh Sankhe, through Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Suhail Sharma, submitted the proposal for action against the gang to Additional Commissioner of Police Rajendra Dahale. Accordingly, the MCOCA action was taken. For six months, it’s difficult for the gang members to get bail.
