Pune: Market Yard to Observe Closure on Independence Day

Pune, 11th August 2023: Pune’s Market Yard located at Gultekdi will observe a closure on Monday, August 15, in honor of Independence Day. The Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) speaker announced this closure.

Alongside the main wholesale market at Market Yard, the sub-markets in Moshi, Manjari, Uttam Nagar, and Khadki will also be closed on Tuesday. On the same day, various sections such as fruits-vegetables, banana market, cattle market, jaggery-food grain, estate, store, printing, stationary, weighing center, petrol pump, floriculture, betel nut, soil-water testing, and the FDA laboratory will remain shut.

Farmers are urged not to bring their produce, while traders and agents are advised to take note of this arrangement.
