Pune: Man Trapped in Well Saved by Firefighters in Dramatic Rescue Operation

Kondhwa, 26th March 2024: A dramatic rescue operation took place today as a man found himself trapped in a well behind Dharmawat Petrol Pump on Pisoli road. Prompt action by the Kondhwa Budruk Fire Station saved his life.

At 5:36 PM, the fire brigade control room received an urgent call reporting the incident. Responding swiftly, a fire engine rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the man stranded approximately 20-25 feet deep in the well, desperately seeking a way out.

Demonstrating exceptional bravery, the firefighters engaged in dialogue with the man and descended into the well to assist him. With the aid of safety equipment and ropes, they managed to bring him to safety within thirty minutes, ensuring his well-being without any injuries.

Both police personnel and bystanders collaborated in the rescue efforts.

The successful outcome of the operation was attributed to the dedicated efforts of driver Sameer Tadvi and firefighters Dashrath Malvadkar, Prakash Shelar, Vikas Wagh, and Pankaj Oval from the Kondhwa Budruk Fire Station.
