Pune: Man Dies from H3N2 Influenza Virus
Pune, 16th March 2023: A man from Pune, who tested positive for the H3N2 virus, has passed away in Pimpri Chinchwad, according to reports. The man had reportedly been admitted to a hospital in Pune with symptoms of respiratory distress, and was subsequently diagnosed with the H3N2 strain of influenza. Despite receiving treatment, his condition deteriorated, and he ultimately succumbed to the virus.
Health officials are reportedly monitoring the situation and taking steps to prevent the spread of the virus. The H3N2 strain of influenza is known to cause severe illness in humans, and has been responsible for several outbreaks in the past.
