Pune: Man Attempts Suicide After Being Rejected By Young Woman
Karvenagar, 11th April 2023: A 34-year-old man attempted suicide by stabbing himself in the Karvenagar area after being rejected by a young woman he was pursuing.
Warje police have registered a case against the man, a resident of Vadgaon Budruk, for attempted suicide and for threatening the young woman.
According to the complaint filed by the woman at Warje police station, the man had been pursuing her despite her rejection of his advances. He had been chasing and harassing her and had threatened her while riding a two-wheeler. The incident occurred when he tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself in the stomach.
The frightened woman recently lodged a complaint with the police, and a police sub-inspector named Javlagi is currently investigating the case further.
