“Anklets, popularly known as ‘Payal’ are regarded as one of the important pieces of jewellery. Silver is a metal of the moon which is associated with feminine energy. Silver is highly reactive metal & it reverts back the energy to the body which brings in more positivity. Silver also helps to boost the immune system, helps improve blood circulation & has an overall positive impact on the body.

Payal symbolizes new beginnings & changes in the life of girls. Silver anklets, bracelets are used to represent religious beliefs or traditions. Silver Payals have been long worn in many cultures as a symbol of love. They are said to bring good luck, protection & also powerful protectors against negative energy. From Asian times payals are worn in silver because gold is considered god’s metal & should not be touched by the feet. Silver payal are worn by women from centuries having great spiritual & social significance. Since ancient times, the custom of wearing anklets made out of silver right from babies to old women has been religiously followed in Indian households. To appreciate this custom and tradition we decided to create the biggest silver anklet at Ranka Jewellers”, informed Tejpal Ranka.
