Pune: Katraj Dairy Reduces Toned Milk Price By Rs 2

Katraj, 30th November 2023: In a move aimed at providing relief to its customers, the Pune District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited, or the Katraj Dairy, has decided to reduce the price of milk by two rupees. The decision was made during a board of directors meeting held on November 24, chaired by Bhagwan Pasalkar, the president of the association.

The reduction applies specifically to cow’s milk. Effective from December 1, consumers will now be able to purchase 1 litre of cow milk for Rs 53, reflecting a two-rupee decrease. Additionally, a 250ml bag of low-fat, high-protein double-toned milk will now be available at Rs.12.

Katraj Dairy, known for its fresh milk, offers a range of dairy products including milk, curd, buttermilk, Srikhand, Amrakhand, Paneer, sweets, and ice cream at reasonable prices for consumers.

In a further positive development, President Bhagwan Pasalkar announced an increase of one rupee in the milk purchase rate for organizations that buy Katraj animal feed in significant quantities.
