Pune: ITI Admission Process for 2024-25 Academic Year Begins

Pune, 3rd June 2024: The admission process for Government and Private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Maharashtra has commenced. Online applications can be submitted until 30th June. A total of 1,48,568 seats are available across 1,026 ITIs in the Maharashtra State. In recent years, there has been a growing inclination among meritorious students towards ITI admissions due to the employment opportunities it offers.

The ITI diploma courses are overseen by the Directorate Of Vocational Education & Training ( DVET ). DVET director Digambar Dalvi has released the admission process schedule for the academic year 2024-25 following the declaration of class 10 results. ITI courses are preferred by students who do not pursue degree courses like 11th, engineering, or pharmacology after 10th grade.

Out of the total available seats, 92,364 seats are in 418 government ITIs, and 56,204 seats are in 608 private ITIs. According to the DVET schedule, students need to verify their documents between 5th June 5 and 1st July to confirm their admission applications. They must select their preferred ITI institutes between 5th June and 2nd July.

The preliminary merit list will be released on 4th July at 11 am, with students allowed to raise objections on 4th and 5th July. The final merit list will then be published on 7th July. Upon the release of the admission selection list on 14th July, students must visit their allotted institutions between 15th and 19th July to verify their documents.
