Pune IT Engineer Detained By NIA for Questioning In Alleged Terrorism Case
Pune 3rd July 2023: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has detained 30-year-old person from Pune’s Kondhwa for questioning in a case allegedly linked with terrorism. The suspect was detained from his house in Kondhwa in the wee hours on Monday.
According to source, the detained person works as an IT engineer in the city. The NIA teams conducted searches at five locations in Maharashtra including two places in Mumbai, two places in Boriwali and one place in Pune.
Sources have also confirmed that the involvement of the person detained from Pune is yet to be investigated and he has been picked only for the questioning. No arrest has been made so far. More details of the case were awaited.
