Pune, August 24, 2019: “For me, fashion in Pune was restricted between Laxmi road and Tulsi Baug. But now Pune is becoming a vibrant city and is opening up as all brands across India are coming here. The city is welcoming people from all over. The women here have been trying out everything from suits to stylish sarees to gowns and apparels of various colours, which is quite remarkable,” said renowned actress Sonali Kulkarni during the inauguration of an exhibition called ‘Couture’ organized by Smita Patwardhan and Naina Mutha at Hotel Westin, Koregaon Park today. Usha Kakade, Founder of Gravitas Foundation, Salim Asgarally, Fashion Designer and other dignitaries were also present at the function. With more than 110 stalls presenting high-fashion clothing, jewellery, gifting solutions and home décor, the exhibition which is free and open to all will last till Saturday, August 24, 2019 between 11am and 9pm.

The exhibition is being held with an objective to encourage women entrepreneurs and designers by providing them a proper platform.
