Pune : Irregular And Low Pressure Water Supply Likely In Pimpri Chinchwad On Friday Evening, Know Details
Pimpri 13th Sept 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has asked the citizens to store the water and use it carefully on Friday as the city is likely to receive irregular and low pressure supply on Friday evening due to scheduled work. The officials are scheduled to carry out installation work of the necessary ABT meter at Ravet impure water treatment plant.
The water supply department of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is set to install essential electrical meters (A.B.T. meters) at the Rawet impure water treatment center. Due to this, the electricity supply to the impure water treatment center in Ravet will be temporarily suspended on Friday (September 15) between 11:00 am tand 1:00 pm, the officials said.
During this scheduled downtime of the Rawet impure water treatment center, the morning water supply for the Pimpri Chinchwad city will continue as per the regular timings. However, there might be irregular or low pressure supply in the evening. The citizens are urged to store a sufficient quantity of available water and cooperate with the municipal corporation by using water judiciously, the City Engineer Shrikant Savane said.
