Pune: IPS Krishna Prakash In Disguises Catches Youth Who Was Demanding Money In His Name
Pimpri, 27th March 2022: Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash yesterday nabbed a youth who had been demanding money from people in his name and Mumbai Police Joint Commissioner Vishwas Nangre Patil. The officer had met the accused in disguise with his team and caught him red-handed.
The main accused Roshan Bagul, Gayatri Bagul and Pooja Mane have been arrested in the case. Vicente Joseph has lodged a complaint with the Dehuroad police in this regard.
According to officials, Bagul impersonated as an officer of the cybercrime cell and demanded money from people to settle their land disputes saying he was a close confidant of IPS officers Krishna Prakash and Nangre-Patil.
After getting complaints, Joseph was asked to call him for a meeting at a hotel around 9.30 pm on Saturday. As soon as Bagul accepted the money, he was caught by the plainclothes policemen.
