Pune: Income Tax To Organize Camps For Helping People Fill Forms, Resolve Disputes

Pune, December 10, 2020: To help income-tax payers to file forms under ‘Vivad-se-Vishwas’ scheme of Government of India, the Income Tax Department, is organizing camps in its various offices located in Pune city and all over the state on 14th December, 15th December and 16th December 2020 between 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Taxpayers can go to the offices if they have been facing problems or doubts in filling the online forms of ‘Vivad-se-Vishwas’ scheme. The officials have been directed by the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Pune to help the taxpayers. Under ‘Vivad-se-Vishwas’ scheme a taxpayer can be free from litigation of a particular assessment year if he chooses to pay 50% of the disputed tax and in some cases 100% of the disputed tax. He need not pay interest. He need not pay a penalty. 

This is a golden opportunity for taxpayers to save their time, energy and resources. Taxpayers can approach local Income Tax offices at Pune, Nashik, Thane, Kolhapur, Panvel. Kalyan, Aurangabad. Solapur and other cities for help if required in uploading data. The last date of filing the form is 31st December 2020.
