Pune: Horrific Incident In Pisoli As Man Strangles Woman And Her Two Children, Sets Bodies On Fire
Kondhwa, 6th April 2023: A horrific incident has been reported from Pisoli area of Pune, where a 30-year-old man, Vaibhav Roopsen Waghmare, allegedly killed Amrapali Waghmare, aged 25, and her two children, Roshni aged 6, and Aditya aged 4, and set their bodies on fire.
The accused, a native of Lohta village in Ausa taluka of Latur district and a relative of the victim, suspected Amrapali of having an affair with another person, which led to a heated argument between them. Vaibhav, who works as a security guard, strangled Amrapali and her two children and covered their bodies with a bed sheet, clothes, and wood, before setting them on fire.
The incident came to light around 9 pm yesterday. Sameer Sahebrao Masal (34), a resident near Padmavati Mandir, Pisoli, has lodged a complaint with Kondhwa police station. The bodies were burnt in a tenshed on his farm.
According to police, Vaibhav was having an affair with Amrapali and suspected her of having another affair. The victim was separated from her husband.
The Kondhwa police arrested the accused and further investigation is going on.
