Pune: Heart Attack Claims Doctor’s Life in Wanowrie; Found Dead in Car

Wanowrie, 23rd August 2024: In Pune’s Wanowrie area, a young doctor passed away from a heart attack in his car yesterday afternoon. The car was still running when he experienced severe chest pain and lost consciousness. Reports suggest he had been suffering from high blood pressure.

According to Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Patange of Wanowrie Police Station, Dr Anup Roy (age 38, resident of Yewalewadi) passed away in his car. Nearby citizens reported the incident to Pune Police’s Control Room. The police arrived at the scene and rushed Dr. Roy to Sassoon General Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival due to a heart attack.

His family was contacted using documents found in the car. It is reported that he had been dealing with high blood pressure for the past 4 to 5 years. The sudden death of a young doctor, particularly due to high blood pressure, has caused concern among those who knew him.
