Pune : Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil Holds Review Meeting On Various Issues Of Wagholi

Pune 11th August 2023: Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil on Friday held a review meeting on various issues related to Wagholi. During the meeting he instructed the officials to fix a dedicated place for private travels to stand on the Pune-Ahmednagar Highway. He also asked the officials to curb the issue of these travel buses halting and parking on roads by obstructing other vehicles’ movement and asked to enforce the rules strictly.

Patil further also asked the Pune Municipal Corporation to allocate necessary funds to make a bypass road from Wagholi to connect Pune-Ahmednagar highway as it has been one of the pending demands of the local citizens. He also advised the municipal corporation to make phase wise plans to carry out developmental works in the merged villages.

The residents of Wagholi have been complaining of frequent power cuts and the MSEDCL has proposed to build a seperate substation as the present infrastructure is not enough to provide proper electricity supply in the area. The guardian minister asked the concerned officials to speed up the work to make an open space available for the substation.
