Pune, 28th August 2024: The Geeta Ashram Foundation, a spiritual centre dedicated to seekers, celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami with immense enthusiasm on Monday, August 26, 2024, in Khadki, Pune. Established in 1998 by followers of Guruji Shri Padmanabhan Krishnadasa, the foundation is rooted in India’s ancient and rich spiritual heritage and is committed to serving the community by spreading the message of “Naraseva Narayana Seva.”

The ashram was adorned with beautiful decorations for the occasion, setting the stage for a grand celebration filled with elaborate rituals, devotional music (bhajans), and special prayers dedicated to Lord Krishna. The event featured the chanting of the Vishnusahasranamam, followed by a spiritual discourse, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Devotees who attended the event were blessed with special prayers, and many gathered at the Pimpri location of the ashram to participate in Guruji’s worship, receive darshan, and partake in prasad.

In addition to the celebrations, the ashram’s YouTube channel released a new devotional song, “Radhe Govinda,” dedicated to Lord Krishna. The song is now available on all major music platforms, allowing devotees to continue their spiritual connection with the ashram from anywhere.

The Geeta Ashram Foundation is dedicated to offering spiritual teachings and discourses based on the principles found in the Vedas, Bhagavad Gita, and other spiritual scriptures. Throughout the year, the foundation hosts a variety of activities, including pujas, religious festivals, bhajans, yoga, pranayama classes, and spiritual guidance in areas such as astrology. The foundation is also committed to promoting the Sanskrit language through its Gurukul Sanskrit Academy, where students of all ages and from various regions come to learn Sanskrit.
