Pune Gears Up for the ‘8th International Pen Festival 2025’

Pune, 13th January 2025:— Punekar’s can now get ready to immerse themselves in the world of exquisite pens as Writing Wonders, an initiative of Surendra Karamchandani is all set to present the ‘8th International Pen Festival 2025’, a culmination of fine craftsmanship, innovation, and the timeless art of writing. The event will take place on 18th and 19th January 2025, at Siddhi Gardens, DP Road, Near Mhatre Bridge, Erandwane from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Entry to the festival is free for all with ample parking facilities available for visitors.
The festival will be inaugurated on 18th January 2025, at 10.30am by Chief Guest Fatehchand Ranka, of Ranka Jewellers Pvt. Ltd, Satish Magar- Managing Director, Magarpatta City Group, Dr. Ranjit Jagtap -MS, MCh, Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and Sushil Jadhav- Pune Zonal Head, Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-op Society Ltd. in the presence of other distinguished guests like Kewalkumar Jain of Kumar Properties, Cawas Pundole of C.T. Pundole & Sons, Shailesh Bhandari of B.U. Bhandari, Prof. Yashwant Pitkar, a pen collector and enthusiast Yusuf Mansoor a pen collector from Patna.
Speaking about the festival Surendra Karamchandani said, “We have been organising this International Pen Festival for seven years and we have always received overwhelming response. This year also we assure our visitor a vibrant celebration of creativity and craftsmanship for everyone from seasoned collectors to passionate beginners.”
This year’s festival promises a unique experience for pen enthusiasts, collectors, and writers, featuring over 75 premium makers of pens from around the globe that include a range of fountain pens, ball pens and roller pens. Along with this there will be exclusive product launches and limited-edition collections. Visitors can also explore a wide range of premium inks in over 100 shades, luxurious leather pen pouches and enjoy engaging activities with handwriting analysts and calligraphy, signature and Marathi signature artists. There will also be a lucky draw wherein visitors can get a chance to win over 50 premium pens.
Prominent doctors, advocates, builders, architects, CA, and Educationists will be attending the exhibition, creating an exceptional opportunity to network with leaders from diverse fields.
In addition to the two-day pen festival, Writing Wonders will also commemorate the Handwriting Day on 23rd January 2025 with competitions across 35 schools involving over 33000 students. More than 300 prizes will be awarded to noteworthy students along with trophies for participating schools. The participation for this event is also free for all.
