Pune: Fraud Of Rs 10 Lakh By Friend With Lure Of Investment
Pune, 10th December 2022: A man cheated his friend of Rs 10.35 lakh with the lure of an investment. A case has been registered against one in this case.
A case has been registered against Opinder Singh Pradan Singh Kant. In this regard, Subhash Vasant Kharade (65), a resident of Bhosalenagar has, filed a complaint at Chaturshringi police station.
Kharade and Kant have been friends since college. Kant lured Kharade to invest in a company. Kant stated that Kharade would receive a good return on investment. Then Kharade invested the money. Due to non-return on investment, Kharade asked Kant for an update. Kant gave him two cheques which bounced because there was no money in the account.
Kharade lodged a complaint with the police. After investigating the complaint application, a case was registered against Kant. Assistant Police Inspector Zarekar is investigating.
