Pune: Four Members Of A Family Died By Suicide After Loss In Share Market Business
Mundhwa, 14th January 2023: In a tragic incident, four members of a family in Keshavnagar died by suicide yesterday after they suffered losses in the stock market trading.
The names of the deceased are Deepak Thote (59), Indu Deepak Thote (45), Rishikesh Deepak Thote (24), Samiksha Deepak Thote (17), all residents of Keshavnagar, Mundhwa. The Thote family hails from Amravati. He had moved to the Keshavnagar area two months ago. He had taken a house on rent in Keshavnagar area. Deepak Thote had invested heavily in the stock market.
Due to losses in the stock market, the couple was under tension for the past few days. They were struggling financially. It was revealed late on Friday night that Deepak, his wife Indu, son Rishikesh, and daughter Samiksha died by suicide by drinking poison.
On getting information about this incident, Senior Police Inspector Ajit Kumar Lakde of Mundhwa Police Station and his team rushed to the spot. The bodies of the four have been sent to Sassoon Hospital for autopsy.
