Pune: Four Dead In Fire At Hardware And Electricals Shop In Chikhali

Pune 30th August 2023: In a tragic incident reported in Chikhali, four people have lost their lives after a major fire was reported inside a Hardware and Electricals Shop. The fire brigade team of Pimpri Chinchwad has recovered all four dead bodies from the shop and the fire has been brought under control.

According to the fire brigade officials, the fire was reported at around 5:25 am at Sachin Hardware and Electricals located inside Pooja Heights building located at Shahu Nagar near old RTO. The fire started from ground floor of the building spread further due to which four people sleeping inside the shop died. The fire brigade team suspect short circuit as the main reason of fire. However, further details will be revealed after a detailed investigation, said officials.

According to officials, the deceased have been identified as Chimanaram Benaram Chaudhary (48), Namrata Chimanaram Chaudhary (40), Bhavesh Chimanaram Chaudhary (15) and Sachin Chimanaram Chaudhary (13), all are residents of Rajasthan and were living in Chikhali. According to police, the deceased were running the shop and were residing inside the upper compartment with family.
