Pune: Four Auto Rickshaws Gutted Into Fire Reported Near Janta Vasahat Chowk, No Casualties Reported

Pune 17th Sept 2023: A fire was reported at the parking near Janta Vasahat area in the wee hours on Sunday in which four auto rickshaws were gutted into the fire. Fortunately, no casualty or injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the fire brigade officials, a watchman working at a nearby site rushed to the fire brigade station at around 2:18 am on Sunday to inform about the fire in auto rickshaws. The fire brigade team was immidiately rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control. The officials said that a major incident was averted as more vehicles were parked nearby and the fire could have spread in all other vehicles.

The fire brigade officials could not find out the reason of the fire but possibility of someone setting up the vehicles on fire is also not ruled out.
