Pune: Flyover Opened For Traffic From Bavdhan To Satara At Chandani Chowk

Pune, 16th April 2023: A flyover for vehicles traveling directly from Pashan-Bavdhan towards Satara has been completed and opened for traffic. Now, vehicles going from Pashan-Bavdhan to Satara can go directly to the highway from the bridge.

Except for the main flyover at Chandni Chowk, work on other routes is almost complete. Kothrud to Mulshi, Kothrud to NDA, Mulshi to Kothrud and Satara, Mulshi to Mumbai and Mulshi, and Bavdhan to Kothrud routes have been started so far. Now, the road from Bavdhan to Satara Road has also been opened.

Previously, vehicles traveling from Pashan-Bavdhan to Satara had to take a right turn from the Chowk of Viva Inn Hotel and then take a left turn on the highway towards Satara. However, this road passing from the Chowk was getting narrow, resulting in traffic congestion in the morning and evening.

As a result, vehicles traveling towards Warje or Satara would get stuck in this dilemma for a long time. However, now vehicles can come straight ahead from Viva Inn Chowk and directly reach the highway via the new flyover. This will also help to reduce congestion in the chowk.
