Pune: Fire Brigade rescues senior woman stuck in a locked room, people thankful for the timely help

Pune, January 2, 2021: The incident took place around 10 am on Friday. The Fire Brigade control room was informed by locals that an old woman (70) living in Sahakarnagar, Tulsibagwale colony, was stuck in a locked room, unresponding.

 

Fire Brigade control room informed the same to the nearest Public Colony Fire Brigade centre and asked to look into it. The same was informed to the police department. As the firemen reached, they searched for the woman in the building using a ladder. They found her unconscious in one of the rooms of the building. Without making a further delay, by cutting down the iron net of the window, one of them entered and rescued her by opening the door.

 

As per the received information, the old woman, while working in her house fell suddenly. Therefore, she could not get up or call anybody but now she is safe. Local people are appreciating the job done by the Fire Brigade men Mahendra Sakapal, Sandip Ghadshi, Shailesh Gore and the driver Rishikesh Bibve. People are thankful to the Fire Brigade team for their assistance in time.
