Pune: EPFO Launches ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ Initiative to Boost Accessibility to PF Services”

Akurdi, 28th August 2023: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has launched a new initiative called “Nidhi Aapke Nikat,” which translates to “PF Near You,” aiming to enhance accessibility and convenience for its members and beneficiaries. This move represents EPFO’s commitment to simplifying processes and making its services easily accessible across the country. The EPFO Regional Office Akurdi Pune-2 introduced “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” as part of a District Outreach Program on August 28, 2023, in collaboration with the M/s NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CONTRCUTION MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH, POST OFFICE, Pune.

During the event, participants including subscribers, stakeholders, employers, and pensioners were provided with information on various PF and pension-related topics. These included the process for submitting grievances, fraud prevention measures, digital signature certificate registration, form updates, E-nomination procedures, online claims, Digital Life Certificate updates, and more. The event also highlighted the Vigilance Awareness Campaign to raise awareness about potential fraud activities related to PF accumulation.

Shedding light on the initiative, Regional PF Pune(Akurdi), K Ravindra Kumar emphasized that “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” is a significant step towards improving member services and satisfaction. The initiative underscores EPFO’s commitment to modernizing its operations, embracing digital transformation, and creating a member-friendly environment.

Anil Kashyap, President cum Chancellor, and Ghanshyam Karande of NICMAR University applauded EPFO Akurdi’s efforts in organizing this program for swift grievance redressal and better services for PF subscribers, stakeholders, and pensioners.

Following New Delhi’s guidelines, an invitation was extended to the Director ESIC Pune Zone to participate, facilitating the immediate resolution of worker and beneficiary grievances.

The event was organized under the guidance of K Ravindra Kumar, Regional PF Commissioner-I, along with Minhaj Asghar, Assistant PF Commissioner, Mahesh Ghale, Nodal Officer, Rauf Shaikh, Enforcement Officer, Vaishali Dhumal, Enforcement Officer, Rajnish Kumar, Section Supervisor, Sandip Akhory, Purna Chand Baiga, Alok Kumar, Kumar Amit, Chandrashekar Azad, and the PF officials’ team from the Akurdi Office.
