Pune: Encroachments Of 47,500 Sq Ft Removed In Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri, 18th May 2023: Ward Office ‘C’ and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) took action on 47,500 sq ft encroachments at Group no 771 in Kudalwadi Chikhali Road along with the area in front of Kudalwadi Nayara Petrol Pump. The action was taken today on the unauthorized industrial steel patra sheds by the Anti-Encroachment Department.

The said action was taken on six industrial sheds at Group No 771.

Under the direction of PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh, Additional Commissioner Pradeep Jambhale, Additional Commissioner 2 Jitendra Wagh, City Engineer Makarand Nikam, and under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Anna Bodde, Deputy Engineer Suryakant Mohite, the operation was carried out under the control of Junior Engineer Chandrakant Patil, Prasad Alhat, Priyanka Mhaske, Ketaki Kulkarni and Civil Engineering Assistant Yogesh Shewalkar and municipal employees, Maharashtra Security Force, Maharashtra Police.

Area Encroachment Squad, Maharashtra Security Force, Maharashtra Police Squad, and Fire Brigade (Chikhli) participated in this operation.

Encroachments are rising in the city rapidly. Citizens should not erect unauthorized sheds on the roads. According to the direction of the Commissioner, no unauthorized patra-shedding or construction should be done at the place where the said action has been taken without obtaining the permission of the Municipal Corporation.
