Pune: Election Of Dehu Nagar Panchayat To Be Held On 5th April

Dehu, 29th March 2023: Since the tenure of the chairman and members of various committees of Dehu Nagar Panchayat will end, Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh ordered that the election process should be held on 5th April.

Dehu Nagar Panchayat has Standing Committee, Construction Committee, Women and Child Welfare Committee, Water Supply and Drainage Committee, Sanitation Medical, and Public Health Committee. The tenure of the chairman and members of these committees is ending on the 6th of April. Therefore, earlier on 5th April, the election process will be conducted between 11 am and 4 pm.

To decide which subject committees should be in the municipality, as well as to determine the number of standing committee and subject committee members, to decide which subject committee will be the ex-officio chairman of the vice-president, to nominate the members of the subject committees, to hold elections for the post of chairman of the subject committees, if necessary, to decide on the nomination of the standing committee members and permanent Composition of the committee, etc will be done in the election process at this time.
