Pune: Drunk Motorist Causes Havoc in Kothrud, Injuring Two and Damaging Multiple Vehicles

Kothrud, 11th December 2023: An incident took place in the Kothrud area on Karve Road late on Saturday night when a motorist, suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, collided with four to five vehicles, leaving two individuals with minor injuries. The aftermath of the incident was captured on video and has been circulating on social media.

At approximately midnight, a speeding car crashed into several vehicles in front of Sukhkarta Dining Hall on Karve Road, causing damage and chaos in its wake. Eyewitnesses at the scene quickly speculated that the motorist responsible for the collision was intoxicated, a claim substantiated by a circulating video capturing the aftermath of the accident.

The collision resulted in two individuals sustaining minor injuries. They were promptly attended to at a private hospital and subsequently released after receiving treatment. The nature of the injuries has not been disclosed, but early reports suggest that they were not severe.

Police are further investigating the case.
