Pune: Diwali Mela Celebrated by the Office of the PAO GREF
Vishrantwadi, 24th October 2024: The Office of the PAO GREF hosted a vibrant Diwali Mela, featuring a variety of activities, including sports with Army and GREF units, fun games, and cultural programs. The event concluded with a spectacular fireworks display, creating a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
Several stalls were set up, offering a range of options including food, books, and an exhibition of paintings. The Mela was inaugurated by Chakchabiyak Zothankhuma, IDAS, PCDA (Army) Pune, who praised the efforts of the organizers in creating a joyful community celebration.
In his welcome address, Lehana Singh, IDAS, PAO GREF Centre, highlighted the significance of Diwali in fostering community spirit and camaraderie among the participants.
The event was further graced by several distinguished guests, including Sonal Mehlawat, IDAS, Additional CDA, JCDA (R&D) Pashan; Vikram Ashok Rajapure, IDAS, JCDA, PCDA (Army) Pune; T. The Diwali Mela served as a platform for fostering unity and celebration among the community, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the region.
