Pune: District Level Awards Await Small Entrepreneurs; Application Deadline on December 20
Pune, 5th December 2023: Small entrepreneurs meeting the eligibility criteria in the district are encouraged to submit their applications in the prescribed format at the office of the General Manager, District Industries Center Pune, for the District Awards-2023 by December 20.
District level awards, sponsored by the Maharashtra state government, recognize the exceptional performance of small entrepreneurs in the district’s industrial sector. The selection of small-scale industries for the district award is based on criteria set by the government.
To be considered for the District Award Part 2, Udyog Aadhaar, and Industry Registration, the enterprise must be registered with the Directorate of Industries as a permanent small enterprise for the last three years (registered before January 1, 2020, Udyog Aadhaar, or Enterprise Registration). The industry component should be in continuous manufacturing process for the last two years, and the small-scale enterprise should not be in default of any institution or bank. The first prize for the district level is Rs 15,000, while the second prize includes Rs 10,000 and a medal.
