Pune District Collector Reinstates Suspended Licenses of 14 Clubs

Pune, 19th July 2024: The Pune District Collector has reinstated the licenses of 14 clubs that were previously suspended, amid financial difficulties faced by the hospitality sector. This decision comes as part of a broader review process initiated by District Collector Dr Suhas Diwase.
The licenses of these 14 clubs were reinstated yesterday evening. The list of clubs includes:
Pune City Police Jurisdiction:
– Two clubs in Kharadi
– One club in Balewadi
– One club in Kothrud
– One club in Sahakar Nagar (Satara Road)
Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Jurisdiction:
– One club in Pimple Saudagar
– One club in Chakan
Pune Rural Police Jurisdiction:
– Two clubs in Indapur
– Three clubs in Khed Taluka
– Two clubs in Junnar
The District Collector will conduct thorough checks on these clubs for any violations, including reviewing complaints lodged by the Pune police and authorities from PMC, PCMC, and PMRDA before considering the full revocation of their suspensions.
