Pune, 31st May 2024: The Pune District Collector, Dr. Suhas Divase, has given another date in the first hearing for Cosie and Blak Club, following allegations that they served alcohol to minors. The hearing took place yesterday. The new date is yet to be communicated to the parties involved.

Amol Dhange, the lawyer representing the clubs, informed Punekar News that we have told the district collector in the first hearing that all pertinent documents are currently sealed in police custody. Pune Police arrested the owner of Cosie and the manager of Blak Club. This has delayed the proceedings, and the hearing date will be shared via email, WhatsApp, or Telegram.

This action follows a tragic Porsche accident that resulted in the deaths of two IT professionals. In response, the Excise Department has intensified its crackdown, sealing over 120 establishments, including clubs, bars, and rooftop venues throughout Pune. Additionally, the district collector has revoked the licenses of six rooftop clubs.
