Pune, 3rd October 2023: In an electrifying display of skill and determination, Dhyanchand Academy has secured their place in the quarterfinals of the 7th SNBP All-India Hockey Tournament for Boys’ Under-16. The action unfolded at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune, on Tuesday, October 3rd.

Pool-A: Dhyanchand Academy Dominates Tamil Nadu Hockey Academy

Dhyanchand Academy showcased their prowess with a resounding 5-0 victory over Tamil Nadu Hockey Academy. Captain Tushar Sharma opened the scoring in the 12th minute, setting the tone for the match. Ritesh Pandey added to the tally with a penalty corner conversion in the 28th minute. The team maintained their momentum, with goals from Manjeet Singh Chauhan (32nd – p.c), Mithalesh Yadav (48th), and Jayhind Yadav (57th) to secure their place in the quarterfinals.

In a remarkable display of dominance, Army Boys Sports Company secured their first win in style with a staggering 13-0 victory over Grassroot Hockey in Pool-F. Pool-E: Hockey Nashik Prevails Over Kolkata Worriers
