Pune: Deepa Mudhol-Munde Takes Charge As CMD of PMPML
Swargate, 15th July 2024: Deepa Mudhol-Munde (IAS) assumed the position of Chairman and Managing Director of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) on Saturday.
On Monday, a comprehensive review meeting was held at the Head Administrative Office in Swargate, where Mudhol-Munde met with all department heads to assess the operations of PMPML. Present at the meeting were Joint Managing Director Nitin Narvekar, Chief Executive Officer Pragya Potdar-Pawar, and various department heads.
Mudhol-Munde’s appointment is seen as a significant step towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the city’s public transport system. Her leadership is expected to bring new strategies and improvements to PMPML, benefitting daily commuters and the overall functioning of the service.
