Pune: Death Threat To Mother And Daughter To Withdraw Complaint Of Abuse; Case Against One By Sinhagad Police
Sinhagad Road, 15th April 2023:: A man threatened to kill a minor girl along with her mother to withdraw the complaint filed in the case of harassing and abusing a minor girl in the Sinhagad Road area. A case has been registered against a youth in this regard.
A case has been registered against a 20-year-old in this case. A woman has filed a complaint at the Sinhagad Road police station.
The minor daughter of the complainant woman was lured away by the accused. He molested the minor girl. Last year, a case was registered against him at the Sinhagad Road police station. A case was registered against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) after the mother of the minor girl complained. Kamble was in Yerwada Jail for this crime. He had just come out after getting bail.
The accused then went to the house of a minor girl living in the Sinhagad Road area. Her mother was in the house at that time. He threatened them stating that he is out of jail and is not afraid of anyone. “If you don’t withdraw the complaint filed with the police, I will kill both of you,” with such a threat, he dispersed. The frightened woman complained to the police. Police sub-inspector Sable is investigating further.
