Sinhagad Road, 11th December 2023: In a distressing incident, a dance instructor in Nanded City on Sinhagad Road, identified as Swapnil Milind Londhe, has been arrested for allegedly defrauding parents by falsely claiming to organize a dance competition in Hungary. The complaint, filed by Sarika Yogesh Bhosale, has prompted action by the Haveli Police, resulting in Londhe’s arrest.

The complainant’s daughter had been attending Londhe’s dance academy in Nanded City for approximately a year. A few months ago, Londhe reportedly informed parents, including Sarika Bhosale, that he planned to take the children to a dance competition in Hungary. To cover the associated expenses, Bhosale and other parents entrusted Londhe with significant sums of money, totalling 3,60,000 rupees.

As the anticipated date for the international event approached, parents began seeking details from Londhe, who allegedly presented fake flight tickets and evaded queries with vague responses. The children and their families, excited about the prospect of an overseas dance performance, were left disheartened by the instructor’s actions.

In response to the fraud complaint lodged by the aggrieved parents, Haveli Police promptly arrested Swapnil Milind Londhe. The arrest was made under the guidance of Police Inspector Sachin Wangde, and Assistant Police Inspector Vikas Adagale is overseeing the ongoing investigation.
