Pune: Couple Cheats Man Of Rs 1.85 Lakh Promising To Help Him Get Job With BMC
Pune, February 16, 2021: A case has been registered against a couple from Pune in the case of financial fraud who cheated a man under the pretext of helping him get a job with Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
Suresh Shantaram Bagul (45) has lodged a complaint against Amrit Shailesh Auti and Shailesh Ramesh Auti.
The accused took Rs 1.85 lakh from the complainant from time to time by luring the son and relatives of the complainant to get a job in Mumbai Municipal Corporation. But the complainant did not get a job, so he demanded the accused to return the money.
However, the accused escaped and did not return the money. The complainant then lodged a complaint with the police. Kothrud police have registered a case against the two and further investigation is underway.
