Pune: Continuous Rainfall To Persist For 72 Hours; Orange Alert Issued for Ghat Areas, Caution Advised
Pune, 27th June 2023: Anupam Kashyapi, the head of weather forecasting at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Pune, has declared that the current spell of heavy rainfall shows no signs of subsiding in the next 72 hours. Residents and authorities alike are bracing themselves for the impact of this prolonged downpour.
Kashyapi emphasized that the neighboring ghat areas would remain under an orange alert, indicating the possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall and potential risks associated with it.
