Pune, 8th August 2024: A complaint has been filed against Dilip Khedkar, the father of the controversial IAS trainee officer Puja Khedkar, at Bundgarden police station, Pune city police, for obstructing government work.

Tehsildar Deepak Akde lodged the complaint at Bundagarden police station on Wednesday, prompting the police to start an investigation. This new complaint adds to the growing list of legal troubles for Dilip Khedkar.

Puja Khedkar, appointed at the Collectorate, has been at the centre of controversy during her training period. Khedkar demanded a separate cabin and placed a plaque on her private Audi car with amber beacon, stating “Government of Maharashtra.” The District Collector, Suhas Diwase, received complaints about these demands and subsequently sent a report to the state government.

Dilip Khedkar had allegedly pressured Collectorate employees to provide his daughter with facilities that trainee officers are not typically granted, such as a separate cabin and staff. Tehsildar Deepak Akde’s complaint, spanning two pages, highlights these obstructions to government work.
