Pune: Cleanliness Drive Launched by BJP Mulshi Taluka and Youth Wing in Pirangut Ghat and Bhugaon
Pirangut Ghat, 1st October 2023: In observance of Seva Saptaha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mulshi Taluka, along with its Youth Wing (BJYM), initiated a cleanliness drive on Sunday, October 1, 2023. The campaign commenced at 9:30 AM at Mhasoba Mandir, located in Pirangut Ghat, and later extended to the Bhugaon area.
The event was organized under the expert guidance of Vasudevanana Kale, the District President of BJP Pune Rural, and former MLA Sharadrao Dhamale. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility among the local community.
Several prominent figures were present to support the cause, including Kirandada Dagde Patil, Nagar Sevak and Bhor Vidhansabha Pramukh; Ankitatai Patil Thakare, District President of the Youth Wing for Pune Rural South; Sarachitnis Youth Wing Aniket Dhamale; and Sarachitnis Youth Wing Ajinkya Tekwade.
The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from both party members and local residents, who came together to clean the areas surrounding Mhasoba Mandir in Pirangut Ghat and later in Bhugaon. The event served as a reminder of the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment, aligning with the broader goals of Seva Saptaha.
The organizers expressed gratitude for the overwhelming community support and encouraged continued participation in such socially beneficial activities. The event concluded with the hope that the cleanliness drive would inspire ongoing community involvement in environmental conservation efforts.
