Pune City : 489 New Covid Cases , 681 Discharged Today
Pune, October 16, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 681 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 489 new patients were detected while 21 people died today. Today swab samples of 3393 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 156,633 out of which 142,369 have been cured while 3941 have died. There are still 10,323 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 838 critical patients out of which 446 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,370,468 across the country. Out of this, 64,53,779 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 112,161 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 804,528 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
