Pune City: 391 New COVID Cases, 32 Deaths Reported Today
Pune, October 05, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1428 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 917 new patients were detected while 32 people died today. Today swab samples of 1839 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 149,790 out of which 131,270 have been cured while 3679 have died. There are still 14,841 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 905 critical patients out of which 507 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 66,23,815 across the country. Out of this, 55,86,703 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 102,685 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 934,427 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
