Pune: Cat Stuck In 30-Feet High Mobile Tower Rescued By Fire Brigade

Shukrawar Peth, 23rd March 2022: A cat was found stuck in a 30-feet mobile phone tower on the terrace of a three-story building called Sundar Corner in front of Khadak police station today.

Jawan Shafiq Sayyad, who lives in the front building, witnessed the incident and contacted the fire brigade at 8 am.

President’s Award winner jawan Chandrakant Anandas went up with a rope and a basket and tried to take the cat down. Anandas tried to take the cat in the basket but it did not happen instead due to fear, the cat was moving upwards. He grabbed the frightened cat and moved it on his shoulder and, taking care of it, bravely took the cat down and got down, and concluded the rescue mission.

At this time, the family owning the cat appreciated the Jawans and expressed their happiness.

Driver Ilahi Sheikh, as well as jawans Chandrakant Anandas, Rajesh Kamble, Ambadas Darade, Mahendra Kulal, Pratik Girme, Shafiq Sayyed, participated in this rescue operation.
